   9.     Mundan Sanskar: -

                                       It means that the child has to increase the strength, and glow. It is usually the rule of doing it in third year, fifth year or seventh year or according to the family's tradition.  In the head of the child, where the hair is circular, there is a combination of the entire nadis and treatments.  It has been called the Marmasthan of the governing name. For the protection of this Marmasthan, the rishis have made it mandatory to keep it protected with chhoti ( Shikha) made from hair which are secured and never cut.  Hey boy!  I wish to be able to accept you for your longevity and for the sake of food, for you to get the power of production, strength, prosperity, for the beautiful offspring, to be able to get strength and the right to attain food. After shaving hair, the child should start the mangalacharan after bathing with milk, curd.
